Helping and sometimes hindering the Weedbusters is ‘Woody Weed’. Woody is a rogue who spreads himself around the countryside (like any successful weed!) scaring children and harassing wildlife. Dressed in bright purple and green, he makes an intimidating sight to any unsuspecting passer-by.

(Trouble in my Garden)

Oh, Woody Weed,
I knew him as a seed.

When he was small, he was no trouble at all...
But then his shoots grew longer and his roots grew stronger.

I watched in dread,
As he started to spread.
I exclaimed, "I beg your pardon!"
As he smothered my lovely garden.

"Enough!" I did shout. "I'm pulling you out!"
But it was too late!
Woody had escaped.
Now don't I feel a goose?
Woody's on the loose.
